How to Link Your Facebook Groups and Pages

Do you want to link your Facebook groups and pages together?

You can make your page(s) as your group admin(s). Your page(s) can post, react and comment in your group(s). Your groups members and visitors can find your page(s) from your group(s). Your pages fans and visitors can find your group(s) from your page(s).

1. Add the “Groups” tab on your page

First, you need to add the “Group” tab to your page menu on the left side of your page. (If your page already has the tab, you can skip this step.)

From your page, click “Settings” in the top-right corner.


Click “Edit Page” on the menu on the left side. Click “Add a Tab”.


From the pop-up window, click “Add Tab” for “Groups”.


2. Link your groups and pages

Click the “Groups” tab on the menu on the left side of your page.


Click “Create Group” if you want to create a new group. Click “Link Your Group” to link the group(s) you are the admin(s) of.


From the pop-up window, choose the group(s) you want to link and click “Link”.


You can link the same group(s) to several pages you are the admin of.

3. View your groups on your page

Once you have linked your group(s) to your page. Your fans, visitors and you can view it/them by clicking the “Groups” tab on the left side of your page. You can click the button on the right side of a group and unlink it.


Your fans and visitors can click on your group(s) to have a visit and click the button “Join Group” to join your group(s).


You can share the “Groups” tab link to let people find all the groups linked to your page. To get the link, click “Settings” in the top-right corner of your page and click “Edit Page” on the menu on the left side (click to view the screen captures in the first part “Add the ‘Groups’ tab on your page”).

Click “Settings” on the left side of the tab “Groups”. Then you can get the link.


4. View your pages in your group

Your group members, visitors and you can see your page(s) in the bottom-left corner of your group cover photo. They can click on the name(s) to visit your page(s).


When you link your group to your page, you group members will see a post in your group to get informed.


5. Post, react and comment as your pages in your group

Once you have linked your groups and pages. You can post in your group by choosing your page as the poster.


You can also react, comment and reply in your group by choosing your page as the reactor and commenter.
