Evaluate Your Facebook Groups Growth and Evolution with Metrics Comparison

Do you know how to evaluate your Facebook groups growth and evolution?

You need to compare your groups metrics across two periods.

Have there been more activities in August of this year or of the last year? Have there been more posts or comments in this quarter or last quarter?

You can compare groups metrics between one period and the previous period. You can see the evolution of your groups by week, month, year… For example, you may find that the comments number is increased by 50% and the reactions number is increased by 65% in this month compared to the previous month. It is a good sign. There is a growth in this month.

You can compare groups metrics between the same period of two different years. You can see the relative growth and evolution, regardless of seasonal changes. For example, you may find that there are less activities in your group in August than in July, but more activities in August of this year than of the last year. The drop of activities between July and August may be because of the vacations. There is a relative growth in August in this year.

You can compare groups metrics between any two different periods according to your community management needs. For example, two academic semesters, two promotion seasons…
